Hello all, I have been on this site looking for inspiration and guidance for some time to which i have found so much. So first I would like to thank the community on giving so much to people like me in helping me get to my goals.
Have decided to show what i have completed.
It’s a small and odd size single garage of 7mx3.5m i moved into the house in late last year and the garage looked like this.

Cold, dark and basically unused for over 10 years.

So first was to get some power in there for lighting/power and strip it out.

Followed by prepping and painting the walls/ceiling with a exterior hard wearing paint.

Next was to look at the floor .
I was looking at what the best flooring options would be for my needs. I decided on a custom diy install.
So I prepped the floor, acid etched and scrubbed like mad waited ...............
Neutralised the acid and cleared all the mess up.
Then pained in a semi gloss polyurethane black epoxy paint.
Let it set the on went a second coat.
Time to put on the home made spike shoes and add the next touch . Glitter . I had bought this from my local craft store , so I preceded to give a light dusting of the glitter flakes/dust .
I Followed by mixing some glow in the dark powder to some clear epoxy with some glitter and flicking it around the floor.
Let this all dry then added 4 coats of polyurethane clear epoxy over the course of a month.

With the lights on it looks groovy to the point that my chums call it a disco floor as it refracts the light and shines in a rainbow of colours. But when the lights go out the floor looks like the clear night sky. I can’t capture it on my camera but it looks really neat.!

Next wire up strip lights and power points
Put in all the tools and other bits

Then make a solid work bench and put in all the shelves.
Sound system and laptop and off we go

And done...........

Very cool. Nice job. Is that a CRX? That won't take up much room at all. What car seat do you have in there that you retrofitted to an office chair?

It always amazes me to see what a couple gallons of simple white paint does to brighten a place up. Pretty ingenious job on the floor with the glow in the dark flakes. Well done !!

Looks very nice fella..

Looks nice and compact and I love the way you have the inset so that you can put the shelving in and loose much space.

Painting it white certainly brightened it up.

All the best with it.

Love it! You made it look so easy too!

Does that rifle have a silencer? Problem neighbours? :)

Thank you for the positive comments. I will try and borrow a camera so I can get picture of the floor at night. The chair is from a honda CRX . I am a fan of Hondas hence the cam and cam cover on the back wall.
As for the gun , where I used to live it caused some concern but now where i live there is no one around to be concerned as I have lots more space and no neighbours in ear shot!

I have sorted mine out a few times and put shelving up but never been happy with it!! Now I see some of the builds on hear I have an idea of what to do to make it better now all I have to find is some time and money to complete my plan. Good luck with yours and your Honda

I added a little bush craft section / work station to my garage where i skin chavs that my dogs bring home while wandering in feilds (Joke).

Also added door bump strips to the wall and have put up my nitro rcs which are all in working order.

Looks great! You have done a very nice job with the space. I like the workstation set up with the tool boxes arranged as you have them. The finish of walls and floor are excellent.
I also like the hedgerows? around the outside of the property for privacy. Nice!!!
Keep us posted, and cheers!
