After viewing the Thread Anyone have a soda machine in their shop?, instead of steeling that thread, I thought would start a new one.

I would like to see pictures of garage refrigerators. Here is mine.

Sorry the stock was so low, busy weekend....

OK, that's understandable...

I don't have a pic of mine, but it's your typical brown woodgrain mini-fridge. Surplus from the Mare Island Naval Shipyard, according to the asset tag.

bmwpower...somebody put...water...in your fridge...

Yea, who would have thought. YOu can blame my homo friend who refuses to drink anything else because everything else is "too sweeeet".

This thread reminds me I need to restock the fridge for summer.

That's a nice unit. My mom had a Frigidaire that was bought new in 1950. It even had the GM "Mark of Excellence" emblem and the foot pedal.
The "hands full" pedal was a great feature. Too bad we don't see it these days.

pescadito, great fridge!! I've been looking for a few years to find an old fridge with the "hands full" pedal. I can't believe someone just gave you one!

The Frigidaire in this ebay auction is like the one my mom had (hers was turquoise). She was using it well into the 1980s, and only got rid of it because she wanted an icemaker.

I gave a 1950s Crosley Shelvador to my wife's brother about 10 years ago, because he needed a fridge. I look at the prices on them now...and wish I had kept it.

While I really like the vintage look of the old refrigerators, I also like the idea of the ice maker/cold water deal like "Spiderman's."

Great idea Spidey!

thanks - it was white, but I painted it black to match the workbench. I tried appliance enamel first but the dents and scratches looked worse - so I gave it a coat of flat black with a brush.

WOOHOO

It was our first hot days of spring this weekend and I was out playing in the garage. I asked the wife to bring me out a beer from the house...three times. I finally decided to go get one myself and made a bit of a mess on the floor and the fridge. Guess what?? She TOLD me I need a fridge for the garage!!!!

Lots of neat pictures and thanks for the ideas.

It looks like a mini fridge is in my future!

1935 Westinghouse. They don't build them like they use too. Before and after.

I just picked up the glass door freezer on the bottom over the weekend to use as a beer mug freezer. The black fridge was my dorm room fridge, and has been the beer fridge ever since!
