Eric, I have found that if you have a picture on your phone that isn't working properly, just go to your phone's edit function, then rotate the picture 360 degrees, once you have done that, try uploading it again. I have had repeated success with that approach.

Hmmm, turning the picture "over in a circle" ? Might have to try that next time. I didn't have this issue at first it only happened recently.

So, I had the Mustang in the garage, worked on it, took it racing and broke the TKO 600 on it's 12th pass out. So now it sits on jack stands. I did notice that at the big end of the track, the whoa pedal didn't seem to be slowing it down like it should sooooooo......
I took off the wheel/tires and took a look. Discard is .972 and one spot checked out about .96x, and about the thickest was .992 on the rotors. The pads looked fairly new. I'm guess when I had it apart last time, I swapped in some pads to get through the race weekend.
I ordered a brake/rotor kit from Summit racing. It's a Powerstop kit with cross drilled/slotted rotors. Honestly it was about the same cost as getting regular pads/rotors from the local place. I figured these would be better for the high speed slow downs on the 1/4 mile.
Since I broke my good transmission, I got the older G-Force T5 out of the attic, double checked what was wrong. I then fired off an email to G-Force to check if parts were still available.
It needs 1st gear, 2nd gear and a counter shaft. It also needs a selector plate as that's what broke and wreaked havoc inside the case.
Did I mention the case is also cracked ? I have a stock case to put everything back into. I'm going explore to see if it's possible to use the spool gun to repair this crack as it's small.

I also did a few small things on the other side in the addition. Simple stuff to get organized. I mounted a HF magnetic strip above the bench area.
Then a simple eye bolt mounted through the side of the upright. This gives a place to hang up the ground & cutting torch for the plasma cutter.

Bah, it's only a $300 case. I have another T5 case sitting on the bench with a crack in the rear of it. Another TKO case with an ear broke off of it.

On to other things. I've been pondering the toolbox that I bought cheap. I made the decision that it's just a box, in rough condition. It needs way too much work to make it really nice and it needs finished.
I finished sanding it and am coating it with some Rust-Oleum bed liner. I used the partial can that I had and going to grab 2 more tomorrow.

Going to be like it is, black. That's truck bed coating and its final finish.
Like I mentioned, the box was too far gone to completely refinish. I spent more on the couple of cans of Rust-Oleum than what I paid for the box.

No, it's for the garage addition so I don't have to walk back and forth to grab a tool. Not going to be any fancy in the box, just what I find on sale as I fill it.
It's also going to hold some welding supplies/ consumables. Stuff like tips and welding pliers will have a drawer. Which is one reason I liked this box, the nine smaller drawers.

Just finished putting the box back together and in service. First up, getting the lid support in place. Had to put a larger rivet in it due to the hole in the lid being wallowed out.
Aluminum 3/16" rivet.
Then added to rods back into the lid. Probably not going to use them but for future use, they are there.

Put a few of the extra things that I have accumulated in the drawers. Not planning on a full set of tools but as I find something I need or as I find stuff on sale, I'll pick them up.

Some how putting the brakes on today turned into a joke basically. The car laughed at me the whole time. Notice the bearings and calipers out on the floor ? It went on but only after some coaxing. I thought the bearing was wrong but it was ok. Just a little force to get it to slide on. 
Then the dust cap fought me for about 10 minutes. It needed a little massaging to go on, then some hammer action.
Brakes are done, wheels back on and torqued.

I moved on to getting the TKO out of the car. It's out and on the bench. I was hoping it might just be 3rd gear but nope.
EDIT: Now that I have some food in my belly and think with a clear head. I see a better picture of what the damage is. 3rd gear. Countershaft and a few nicks in the teeth of 1-2 blocking ring.
I'm not sure but the manual I have says these countershafts are multi pieces. If t is, that will cheapen the repair bill.

I made an edit to my above post, been a long day in the garage and needed to get some food in my belly. I'll be making a call tomorrow to Liberty's Gear and see what it's going to cost to get this thing fixed. Well, maybe not a 100% cost but atleast get me heading in the right direction.
I believe I'll also make a call to G-Force and see what it's going to cost to get my old T-5 fixed as a back up.

I was at a NMRA race the weekend before, when it broke, and I had talked to the guys at the Tremec trailer. They actually sponsored the Quick 8 Shoot out for the True Street class.
In talking with Gary & Mike, they told me that Bob no longer does faceplate transmission work. They only Tremec dealers that do it are Liberty and Dederichs in Texas.
Liberty already did work on it (TKO) and are about 3 hours away.
The G-Force is a different mobster. Not sure if they are even making those parts any more. Worst case scenario, I talk to Leonard Long again at the NMCA race when they come back to Norwalk in August.
Nothing against Bob Hanlon, never heard anything bad about the guy. I think he still has a great reputation in the Mustang realm.

Eric the tool box with the bed liner looks good. Just did my first bedliner application on the backside of a beetle bumper hope to stop another round of rust. Brakes on the mustang sure are pretty!
As for the drawer pull maybe shortening the other two and centering them might let my ocd not go wild!

I'll find some drawer trim somewhere or find another option for it. It's hard to believe that nobody is re-popping the stuff.
