I thought I would share my shop project and barrow a few ideas along the way;-) I bought a property about 1/4 mile from my home. It has a small house with an attached 2 car garage and a 32x48x13 detached garage. We will rent the house but keep all the garage space. The 12 year old detached garage is well built but not finished. Over the last 7 months we have wired it for power, air, A/C, insulation, drywall, painted, installed a 2 post lift, polished the floors and mounted cabinets. I still have a few more projects to do but I now can work in the garage not just work on the garage;-)
Thank You!
Pat

The slab was only about 3 3/4” thick where the 2 post lift was getting mounted. So we cut 2 48” x 48” holes and back dug under the slab about 8” x 16” deep. After that set about 40 days we followed up polishing the floor and then mounted the new lift.
Thanks
Pat

Very impressive remodel. I also like the car emblems used on all of the cabinet fronts. Then it even gets better when you scroll down to that beautiful Charger R/T

Thank you sir! For the most part I used car models in alphabetical order and then on the tool cabinets I used 3 engine manufacturers with their engine displacements for each drawer.

Excellent execution! Nice transition.
I must confess, the one photo above of the cabinet with a Lincoln plate on it -- my first thought was "Hmmm, never heard of a Lincoln cabinet system before. Must be new."

I LOVE the tool storage technique - really satisfying.

What else do you have beside the Charger?

Now THAT there is a nice stable.
Please tell me the 72 Trans Am was rebuilt with 1969 or 1970 engine specs rather than emasculated 72 with diminished CR and therefore HP.
Your stable matches the garage: classy, roomy, nicely appointed.
Well Done.

The Trans Am is restored all original, in 1972 it was a strike year there are only 1286 total Trans Am‘s built. Had to leave that one bone stock, mostly;-)
Thanks

Wow...spectacular build and awesome toys. Bravo. I am in the process of finishing touches on my 30x50. I have learned a lot. Uggghh. For instance I did my floors 100,400,stain, 800 then sealed. Unfortunately I was out of town and the guys who foamed my shop didnt think the floors were a big deal and now I am on my hands and knees with a scraper blade trying to get the stuff off. Not fun. I tried to hit them with a black pad and slow speed side to side but the foam overspray just laughed at that. What process and grit did you end up with on your floors? They look great.
