Sorry for the poor quality pictures but we are finally making progress on my garage extension/remodel. Addition on back was built and had the inside of the garage demo'd the other day.

The following is a brief list of what is being done:
15'x12' addition on back of 2 1/4 garage; bringing it to 3 car garage in total (650 sqft). Complete remodel of inside including: insulating entire garage, new ceiling, lighting, windows, side access door, new dry wall, floor attic with thicker boards, heat, possible (AC), etc.

Things I still want/need to figure out Currently:
Speaker/stereo system installed (options?) wanting in-ceiling speakers and receiver etc
Central Vac

Future:
floor coating
possible cabinet options

A good start, looks like the majority is done for the shell. Did you have other temporary lighting in there while working?

They just used the lighting that was already in there to start with. Will be installing 4ft 6500k led lights. Not quite sure on the exact number of lights but my contractor said it will be nice and bright, great for detailing!

What kind of floor coating are you planning. I really wish I would have done something to my space before I moved everything in. I’m not looking forward to moving everything out of the way to do it.

I'm looking to do a epoxy/polyurethane coating. Floor tiles look cool but I'm also a clean freak and don't care for dirt and other debris getting underneath the tiles.

Congrats on the new space. What is the extension going to be used for? Dedicated shop? Parking for a Sunday driver?

The sole purpose of this project was to create a 3rd car garage so that I could park a Corvette back there. Used to have one and really want another one. I'm also having a new driveway put in with curb less approach to account for the Corvette getting up without scraping.

I'm single and currently only have 1 car so for the time being it will just serve as my detail shop and place to get away. I also have about 34 diecast Corvette's that have been sitting in my attic collecting dust. I would like to have a custom wall mount glass/plexiglass case built so I could display them in it.
