This is just in the beginning but I thought I'd post some before and after shots. I just purchased the RaceDeck floor tiles and can't wait to get those installed but wanna keep them clean while the construction part is taking place. Just got central air and heat installed last week and got most of the insulation up this past weekend. Cabinets and countertop for wet bar are under way this week. Sheetrock and painting will hopefully start next week. After all that, the entertainment system will be installed with surround sound, Directv, blu ray player, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and 120" screen and projector. I've been planning this for a while but just kept putting it off............. I'm open for any and all comments and suggestions, especially since it's still early in the project. I'd hate to get done and realize I forgot something. So I'm really trying to go overboard right now so adding things later will be much easier. Thanks

I practiced this picture insert several times on the test page, I hope this works.

Oh yeah, it's approximately 30' x 30' with a 10' ceiling a 5' x 12' nook cutout of the side. I added a garage door to the back and a 40' x 20' Carport off the back of the garage. The main garage doors are 9' tall and allows me to pull my slightly lifted F-350 pickup inside.

Wow, impressive list and nice space you have, also nice cars! So how much will be devoted to man cave and how much to working garage area?

Make sure you install LOTS of outlets, I know I wish I had more, but my house was a spec house, I couldn't add anything to it before we moved in, so it's a future project now.

I've added several more receptacles and have non terminated wires in the attic and walls for future. The garage was pre-existing but I didn't do much to it when I had the house built. It had power already but I added a sub-panel from the main power on the house so I could add a ton of stuff. I didn't have 220v installed when i built the house so now I have 220v to run welding machine if necessary!

I did not run natural gas to the garage, the main house does have it though and the back-up generator runs off of Natural Gas. So I will be installing an electric tankless water heater. There is a full bathroom just outside the back of the garage.

I tend to do too much when I tackle these kinda projects, I'll end up with a bunch of stuff I never use. HAHA!

Thanks
