It all started when I was working on a trailer and thought it would be nice to have a couple of extra feet of space between the trailer and wall. After taking a look at the bench I wondered if I could get by with one less than 16' long and realized I didn't even have 5' of usable space on it and it was mostly clutter. I wished I had taken a before pic but just now decided to make a post. Another thing that stood out was the stuff that was hardly used that could be relocated to the basement and stored in clear, labeled containers. Also more stuff could be moved to the outside shed after I get rid of the car parts that have sat in the loft for over ten years, don't think I'll ever need them. One plan is to take the storage cabinets under the bench, stack them and relocate to the side where the big box is now. I see buying a lot of storage tubs and building a couple of drawers under the bench where the computer is located. The keyboard and mouse will also be moved to a sliding shelf that slides underneath and out of the way.
