I'm not as skilled as all you garage sale/flea market junkies but occasionally I'll find a good deal. While perusing a neighborhood garage sale, I stumbled across this 1/2" Milwaukee hammer drill with a severed power cord and covered in dirt and dryed concrete. The guy wanted $20. I offered him $10 and he took it. Brought it home, cleaned it up and spliced the cord back together. I know it's an older model but for $10 ya can't go wrong!

nice find. I assume after splicing the wire it's working again?

I have that same Milwaukee hammer drill. Mine is about eight years old. It is German made, with a German made chuck (looks like your chuck might be different, my chuck is black).

Beautiful -- nice find!!

BTW - if no one hasn't said it yet, let me give you an unofficial "YOU ****" for getting that drill for $10

Great garage sale find!

Deals are out there; but you need to go to a lot of them and start off early to find deals like that.

BTW, I have read that there has been a huge influx of people shopping at garage sales and even Thrift Stores. To fed off today's higher cost of living...

I'm extra careful on cut cord stuff, accidents happen, but cutting the power cord is also something done with non working product returns.
