I recently went to a garage sale and picked up the following. Was to cheap to pay the 10$ each for 2 other toolboxes as they looked like a lot of cheap import tools. I paid 10$ for this box and contents. Did find a few surprises, like the long c 8 point sockets. To those who are passionate collectors you don't have to worry about me treading on your joy I don't/won't do this often.

With the stay at home order I was kind of surprised you even went out of the house..Nice to know that my competition in central, "Ahia" does not go out to often.

Still I have stopped during the covid-19 pandemic, not worth killing myself for a load tools.

Nice $10 pick up! Since I've stopped going to garage sales (sigh) I am living vicariously through your finds. I am zooming in on all your photos to see what brands you found.

Are the duckbill pliers Utica?

Who are manufactured the punch and the dark socket on its side in the third photo?

Was the box itself in good condition?

Congrats.

Nice lot!

I like the zerk fitting tool, could come in useful. What brand is it? Can't quite make the writing out.

Nice value there to say the least. The New Brit swivel head ratchet is a great find!

I can't stand sitting on my hands during flea market and yardsale season. I'd pay double just for the experience of being out digging through junk piles.

Nice grab. I'd be happy with that haul with or without the plague.

Amen to that. Odd fascination isn't it?

Looking for a Plomb 3061 Pebble Open End.

All don't think me a scofflaw, this was prior to the shutdown

From the image files it appeared the photos were late February.

I know of another event in late February where I got this silver Craftsman toolbox. I was attending a large farm auction and it ended up sitting by the trash. I asked around and no one claimed it so I did. I brought it home to find some old side mount battery cables but I really wanted the box as it reminded me of the one my dad owned. Tag is missing, box has been brush painted with silver, but the tray is like brand new.

Pictures answer questions from previous post.

The kennedy box above was in above average condition for its age. The duckbills are Utica, the socket is a cp (chicago Pnuematic?) the punch is stamped Vanadium and the Zerk tool a Universal #70.

I was posting cause i'm like the rest trapped at home and out of parts for project work!

Enjoy
