Guy at a garage sale this weekend was telling me about his new stainless steel tool box from Costco. He had no use for his old one so I bought it from him for $40. It's a 7 drawer SnapOn, used but in good condition. The top six drawers are sliders and the bottom bin is a roller. Need to stop by the locksmith and get a key made. The rivets in the two center drawers are supports for some home-made drawer dividers.

you ****

Hell of a deal for 40$ regardless of the paint condition. I bet you can throw it up on ebay as is and make 5X that easy, but somehow I think you want to keep it....

Excellent find! Looks plenty useable to me! An older beat up snap on unit like that is sooo much more solid than a new craftsman one. Good thing is you can still get new parts for it from the snapon man. If you look on their website you can get the locks or give the key # to the snapon man and he can get you a key for a couple $$. Not sure what the locksmith will charge.

I've got one just like it! Manufacture date on mine is sometime in like 84 or something! Nuts... drawers still slide like new and the paint is purty hehe.

That's just my "Wall of Signs". Wall along the walkway from the house door into the garage to the back door of the garage. It was too narrow to handle anything but some shallow metal wall cabinets and the rest of the wall I covered with metal signs.

Rickster I think you can buy a lock and key from Sears cheaper than you can have a key made. I'm sure it will fit the hole.
