Garage screen door?

My brain is little weird sometimes......does a company make some type of garage screen door?? This would be a screen door to fit over the area when you have your garage door up

It would be just like a screen door you would have for a normal door in your house

I have seen something like that one the net, it uses velcro to attatch to the door jam....don't think it would be that hard to make or that expensive.

Yea something like that but not so stable if you know what I mean....something you just velcro on and there you go

I purchased an 8' x 16' screen for The Hot Rod Grille's garage door from AutoSport in Charlottesville, VA. It is mfg by company in Indianapolis, IN and has the velcro for attaching to the door frame. The screen has zippers that allow you to unzip and roll the screen up to allow full entry into the garage. It is definitely a well made item and worth the money! I purchased it on sale in Feb and the total cost was around $100. Not sure of availability or cost now, but you may contact the seller at info below.

I have been thinking about making one, but only to use about half way up (as the garage door is only open half-way).

However, a full screen would be nice, but I can already see the GF walking through it.

Here are some motorized screens for the garage door. These things are sweet! Phantom makes an awesome product, the entry door screens are indestructable. You can walk through them and they just slide right back in the tracks. Not cheap though,

I used to live in bug paradise, Stillwater, Oklahoma. I came up with the following solution for my garage door screens.

I found some screen in a 6 foot by 50' roll. I cut it into pices to fit the width of the doors. So I had an 18' by 6' piece, and then a 9' by 6' piece for two doors. I stapled the pieces to my garage door near the bottom, and then rolled the bottom of the strips over 1/2" pvc pipe painted with rubber cement. I rigged up some thing nylon rope and a couple of pulleys so it worked like a roman shade, and rolled up on the bottom of the door.

I would open the doors to about five feet or so, roll down the screens, and call it good. the sides were not sealed, but they did rest against the door tracks. So I had pretty good ventilation, and a lot less bugs. The only draw back is getting the bugs off the screen before you roll it up....

You dont live in Texas....bugs are a different story down here...everything is Texas size

The only thing we dont get down here is lightening bugs.....i miss lightening bugs from living in Indiana up till last august

Yeah we have them around here They are pretty cool. I remember when i was really little if you were to squish them thier guts would glow

No the best is driving at night out in the country and run into the with your windsheild and then your windshield would glow for awhile

A customer in MN has an overhead screen door in their shipping dept.....just a regular overhead door with screen instead of panels...mounts BEHIND the regular door and works seperately
