I had that problem...here's how I solved it.

I cut thin plastic into little 1" squares...then, I drilled holes in them....then I put sheetrock screws in the holes & drilled them through the velcro-ed screen area into the garage about every foot all along the top of the screens....holds everything together super.

Is it just the glue holding the Velcro? If so a staple through the velcro will solve that problem.

It's actualy the hook surface that degrades. I had to staple it on because in the heat of summer the glue would loose it's hold .
Autoist that might work do you remove it in the winter or leave it in place?
im worried here in the sno and ice belt the winter may be hard on the screen assembly.
