Hey folks, I am finally getting around to cleaning up the property and clearing trees. Undecided on where to put the shop. I have a picture of the property with boundaries and two possible locations for the build. The two squares are a rough scale of 36'x36' along with potential driveways to each building.

One thing to keep in mind is I would like to have a small vegetable garden and the best location for sunlight is just South of building 'A'. Also I plan on talking to the neighbor that I share a driveway with to get their opinion on it as they'll have to drive past it everyday and is visible from their house.

Just want opinions on where you might put it.

Thanks

Not a huge difference, but "B" has a slight edge : Less driveway to pour, more room for your vegetable garden. Good luck !

That's kind've what I was thinking also, I am just trying to get the most out of my lot as possible, It's advertised as an acre but the driveway and bottom corner section are about half the property unfortunately.

I would go with A, especially if that was where I'd be parking gardening implements. Plus I tend to use longer driveways.

I like A, just for the fact that if you ever need to back a trailer up to it, it would be a hell of a lot easier.

I like "B" as you can expand south towards the house if needed and even build off the East if you needed to add a lean to or some other means of storage. "A" is stuck against the fence and you can only go West or South if needed and that will work into your garden space. Also as said above less driveway to pour but a longer walk in the rain.

So what about option "C". Putting it south of the house in the nook besides the garage. Guess this will be based on what you do in the shop.
