Posting up some pics of my winter spare-time project.
After my garage radio died, I decided to get creative and build my own. I found a cheap tool cabinet that I removed the shelf and drawers from. Inside it, I added a cabinet and inner support structure made of 3/4" plywood. The radio is an Alpine I scored from a shop that was closing down. Speakers are Alpine and JBL. Powering it all is an Astron 12 volt power supply. It has a 12 volt LED light system with a dozen or so different colors, a volt meter to keep an eye on the power and a key switch to run the switchable power.
