Garage Stool Cushion

Does anyone know if a person can get just the cushion part of a stool? I could get it recovered,but was wondering if one could buy a replacement. Maybe economically foolish,just throw the frame out & buy a new one?

Any upholstery shop in your area should be able to sell you a circular piece of foam.

I have one of those, and couldn't stand to sit on it. Almost no foam, and a sharp edge that cut into my thighs. I cut off the top of the cover, and screwed a piece of 3/4 plywood to the top, cut to the same diameter but with a rounded edge (used a router). Added two layers of jute on top of the wood. Now I can comfortably sit on it, but need to get it reupholstered.

I saw one guy wrapping his in old T-shirts and using a staple gun to fasten them. Even a new T-shirt would cost much. Use you favorite car logo.
