I just bought a new house and now I must start all over for shop and garage. I am going to have a shop built but must first trick out our attached garage. Already had the floors and walls apoxy coated, time for cabinets. Do any of the box stores have good systems that are good quality? Love some opinions. The attached garage will not see any heavy wrenching, it is more for light duty household use and parking a car. In other words, this will be for the wife.

When I build the shop it will not be a girly mancave. That just needs work benches, tool boxes, and mechanical stuff. All testosterone. Any cool decor will be pure accidental and functional. The good news is, I have bought so many tools over the last couple years I must now buy a new tool box set. My Snap-Ons I bought in 78 just ran out of cubic inches. I sold many of my shop tools before I moved across country so I will have to buy fresh. Upgrading to a 2 stage Quincy compressor. That is a plus. Big decision for the shop is stick built vs block built. Florida weather.

Sam's club has a decent set of roll cabinets ,benches and wall cabinets available in store and online. Brushed stainless steel drawer fronts and Grey spatter paint sides. It is the ultra HD line. I have almost every piece. Very reasonably priced, and decent quality. I will be putting the setup in my newly built 36x40x12 shop this spring once i pour the floor.

Any idea of the gauge of metal in the Sam's cabinets?

I purchased a good set from Sears a few years ago, they have a couple of benches standing cabinets and upper cabinets, also a rolling cabinet if I remember correctly, all in steel, not bad pricing and they have served me well over the time I have had them

Sam's club online on sale. Bought 2 sets, $3000 delivered.

Thin metal and will dent easy. But a bunch of cabinets for the money. Also a bonus that they were mostly together, so saved a bunch of time installing.

Sorry about the cheesy lights, just bought the LED strip and was playing around....

Not pictured are 2 more tall cabinets that came with the set.
