Did the garage takeover show get canceled? I have been looking to watch a rerun of the complete show of the one where fridge was painted with flames.

I think it has been cancelled. That show was 10% garage and 90% soap opera anyway. If they are really as incompetent as they appear on TV, I wouldn't let them anywhere near my garage. Most of the shows seem to involve turning garages into play rooms and bars. There's one where they took an awesome garage with a lift and turned it into a disco. Used the lift as the DJ booth. Made me want to shed a tear for what could have been. In another they took nuts and bolts and embedded them in epoxy to make a workbench surface. I'd be cursing them for the rest of my life as I try to pick up the hardware IN the countertop instead of the hardware ON the countertop.

I may have a copy of that episode with the flames. I'm not sure. Don't know how I would get it to you though. I'll check.

I believe it may have been the one with the hardware counter top. I agree the soap opera did bring the show down.

I had this show scheduled on my DVR every night I would watch a new episode and if it was a re-run I would watch it again. I loved the charachters, it made the show entertaining. I liked the drama my other half used to roll her eyes after she watched a couple episodes she was hooked. I am very disapointed I plan on calling Discovery in the morning. I thought that they may have moved it. However it looks like it was canceled :( The show gave me a lot of great ideas too.

Hey SANDOVAL, I admit, I watched it too. That doesn't mean I can't complain about it! I'm not quite the addict you are, though. I don't watch the reruns, and I won't be making any irate phone calls. And KCHOTBOAT, I found the episode. I have it recorded as a 612 MB mpeg file. That's a low resolution, but good enough to watch on my computer. Is there some particular part you want or a certain thing you want to know? Or do you just want to watch the whole thing? It's a little too big to send, even with broadband. I'm limited to emailing 20MB files by my cable co.

I question if they really know what they are doing as well. Now take the episode with the drag bikes. they buy them a compressor and run air lines. Alright cool, they install hoe reels, but they run the entire garage with hose, no filters, and I dont recal a regulator, and they give them a 30 gallon oiless portable deal. If these people are truly mechanics, they are gunna have a hard time running tools for other than a second or two at a time. It just seems like they have no idea how to do it right. Woudl it have killed to run 10 feet of copper tube and install a filter and regulator for the sake of thier air tools?????

That's just eye candy for the relatively uninformed. "Ooooh...an AIR COMpressor!"
