Had a interesting discussion while working in the shop with a coworker about the unemployment rates and how he thinks one political party or another is at fault etc...

I've come to the opinion that no political party is going to be able to fix this country. I've known this for years but it's pretty simple.- US population has doubled in the last 50 yrs, and it's still growing. Thanks to technology, people are being born faster than they are dying. There aren't enough jobs to match the employable population so there's always going to be a growing unemployment rate. What do you think will happen when people have half a dozen kids or more because they want large families... Its not that hard to figure out...

I'm thinking that the human race is at fault. I tell my wife all the time that its pointless to worry about stuff like global warming too... Personally, I don't care if half the world is under water. Don't live near the water if you don't like floods. I'm a welder. 100 plus degrees is fine by me. I hate winters... This planet will survive long past humans destroying themselves. Anybody ever read about the "Georgia Guide stones" http://www.thegeorgiaguidestones.com/? Interesting...
