I have found a lot of good information here. Thanks.
I am looking to install flooring tiles in my garage and have a couple questions. The "flow through" tiles sound like they may expand less at the opening of the garage when the sun hits them than the solid tiles. I think they also look better in the pictures. I have a problem with leaves from a tree about 50 feet from the garage. I usually just blow them out. Do the "ribtrax" or "free flow" tiles catch leaves, or are they easy to just blow off?
We also tend to walk barefoot in the garage. Are these tiles comfortable to walk on without shoes?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I blow out my garage with a leaf blower with no issues. As for comfort, they are more comfortable than concrete IMO but keep in mind it is not carpet.

Welcome to GarageJournal, great place for information.

I've had RaceDeck FreeFlow in my 19x19 since November, and am very pleased with it. Is it comfortable under-foot...depends on the person. If you are a heavy heel-toe walker, it's a little firm under your feet.

Leaves will have no problem being blown out with a blower or compressed air. Smaller things are a little tougher, and your best bet is a shop-vac with wide attachment.

The difference it makes in your garage is breathtaking. Don't be like me and overthink it for multiple years. I put it in, and immediately said "Why did I wait so long".

Hi you may want to take a look at our www.supratile.com tiles. These are solid oversized PVC tiles and not hollow hard polypropylene and very comfortable to walk on.

Most leaves will never make it through a free flow or HD ribbed garage floor tile

My Free Flow floor is a great investment. The care and maintenance is minimal. Here in sw Ohio the snow, slush and ice that falls from her suv just melts and runs through the tiles and follows the slope of the floor to the overhead door and out. My wife and I installed ours, 20'x25', in about 3 hours. I cut the course of tiles across the back wall, all 20 of them, with a circular saw using a paneling blade. No regrets after 2 1/2 years and would do it again if I had to. Good luck. CJ Dave.

Thanks for the replies. Now comes the interesting part - which tiles do I order?

Couple of things.... We sell RaceDeck and TrueLock. If you are looking for a flow through tile, our HD ribbed is a great value and.... we'll get samples of both.... Let me know the difference :)

Lots of pics have been coming in and we have been posting here https://www.garageflooringllc.com/garage-floor-tiles/

Local paper also came out recently and ran a feature story. Photos were from our showroom.
