I'm no expert on trusses but when a bonus room is on a house isnt it done with just trusses without vertical reinforcement? Please excuse me if thats an ignorant statement. The reason I ask is because I would like to know if its possible to "re-engineer" the trusses above my garage to make a storage "nook". Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you.
