Finished installing some under cabinet LED strip fixtures in the garage this evening. Went with a GE 18" strips which can be picked up at Home Depot. 3000k color temp and 197 lumens @ 4.83 watt.

Very pleased with work surface light level and quality of light. Not cheap at $49.00 each, but very happy with choice. Simple 120v hook up, daisy chained 6 fixtures back to 1 Edison electrical outlet w/supplied interconnect cables.

Picture taken with and without camera flash for comparison.

I just installed these under the cabinets of my wife's new kitchen. One stick for each 36" cabinet. I like the color of the light and she loves the extra light since she needs it to see clearly (we're not getting any younger).

Expensive, but easy to install and don't use much power.

Thanks guys. Wanted to add the warm color temp really makes the maple workbench top, pop. I held out purchasing led cabinet lights until the color temp got better and color rendering of led sources was higher as well. Cost will keep coming down over time, but my tipping point had come. Working in the evening on shop projects will be nice for a change.
