So I have worked the last two evenings on a few things mostly the lighting and Surround sound. Lighting is DONE! Where the track lights L will be my work bench. I just finished hanging and wiring the gulf sign that is on Lutron Switch. I was so bummed to find out I bought the WRONG bulbs! Oh well I will get them tomorrow and post some pics with the bad boy lit. I am 100% happy with my lighting I end up eliminating the lighting area near the cabinets. It would have been too cluttered. I had 5 tracks and a bunch of adapters left over out of the 48 Halo track lights I picked up on ebay I used only 19. So I have a few left over. I plan on selling them as a system on ebay. Right now I am into lighting $250 not including the electrical materials like wiring and switches. So there is a good chance I could walk away in the black on the lighting. I also ran my Surround sound system JVC JVC TH V70 $900 retail scored it on ebay Used from a liquidator for $51 the missing remote almost cost me as much as the system. ($45) The system sounds FANTASTIC! Worth every bit of $96! It had a few marks on the subwoofer and 2 of the speakers but they cleaned up well. Anyway here is the latest... still on track to finish this weekend!

That all looks great! I love the Gulf sign. Can't wait to see it illuminated.

What's a Lutron switch?

I like how the exposed conduit against the brick doe not look out of place. Looks good. You might have said before, but what brand of cabinets are you using?

Am I correct in assuming that's real brick on the walls? I was just looking at it thinking if there is anything out there that you can basically "put up" on your existing walls to give the look of old tyme brick, but without the depth of using the real stuff. Anyone know if there is such a thing? With my new house I'll be building I'm going to have a three stall garage under my upstairs garage, all the walls will be poured with the exception of what's touching the house. It'd be cool to give it that old building look by putting something over those walls.

Doing this myself soon - Home Depot - faux brick paneling and fairly inexpensive.

But does it have a brick looking texture to it or is it just flat? I've never seen it at HD, I may check it out soon.

They are about 1/4" thick and look like real bricks. I saw them in the tile section.
