Couple of days ago I saw a pic a member posted here of a wall mounted garage vac with a metal cabinet mounted beside it to store the vacs hose. For the life of me, I now cant seem to find that post again. Can anyone guide me to that post? Thanks

I remember seeing it, but I can't find it by searching. The vac was mounted on the wall and the hose fed into the cabinet for storage. I lliked it. Bill

I didn't see it but I'm interested because I have a wall mounted vac.

Was the hose storage cabinet above or below the vac unit? (Natch, now you'll say on the side! Lol)

I have a wall mounted vac that isn't mounted because I haven't found the perfect spot yet. I want it to be centrally located to reach two stalls and have considered mounting it to the two post hoist riser closest to the center of the garage. That rules out a cabinet at the vac. itself.

Thank you 454. That was just what I was looking for. I'm a wood worker and plan on making a Golden Oak stained oak double door cabinet for it as I have other items in my garage made from oak. Going to get the exact same vac but going to call the company tomorrow to see if they can put the hose attachment of the right side of the canister or at least include a extra hook up and I'll cut out the hole myself. Might even make the cabinet large enough to put the vac inside.

I called the company that manufacturers this garage vac Pro and for such a great product they sure have some dumb people working there. They manufacture the vacuum right there and what I wanted is for the hose hook up to be on the right side of the vacuum instead of the front. So they let me talk to one of their technicians and for the life of me I could not get him to think out-of-the-box and and kept saying that it is only manufactured with the inlet on the front.

I said okay but quite possibly have or buy a second inlet port and I would Cut a hole in the right side and fabricated myself. Well it one point he said well I don't know if we have any of the inlet ports. The holy **** buddy I thought you make the things there and you don't have any inlet ports. Then he said well it wouldn't work. So I said to him could not I turn the filter bag just 90° counterclockwise and have it hook up to the port on the right side. I might've well just been speaking Russian to this guy. He did not have a clue and he is considered a technician

So at the end of the phone call he said why don't you just buy a SB 38 because it will have a port on the side. Well this back cost $450 includes no hose and includes no tools. I guess the one thing I can't stand more than anything are people that cannot look past what they normally do. They might as well be paying for a box of rocks
