Hey Folks,

I have access to these wall slat system at pretty inexpensive price... What exactly do I need to confirm to make sure they are the right choice.

I understand they look commercial but honestly, the price I am getting them at $20/each (2'x8'), I am fine :D

They are 3' c-c (center of grove to center) and from my understanding, that's fine.

Thanks

See if they work for your storage needs, make a plan of what you want to store on the wall and then make your decision. Looks like you can place brackets wherever you want which is better than being limited to placing brackets in the slotted verticals.

I meant, standard slat wall hooks work with these? Is there anything I need to be concerned about considering these are commercial slat wall stuff?

What do I need for the sides to close the ends, end caps?

Thanks

I can't help you with the slat wall question, but the double row shelf standards that run between the slat panels look interesting. Are they part of the slat panels or a separate piece?

The shelf standards look like KV85 sections. I have used a lot of these for shelves. Very strong. Not cheap.

I have a bunch in my shop! Works great, but for the heavier items you need the stuff with the aluminum insert....like yours has!!

Now start watching CL for a people that are closing stores and selling the hardware/hooks. I've bought a bunch, cheap, by being patient and checking frequently.

My new basement level is done is Slatwall. Right now, detective, but that will change as needed. Just need to watch the weight.

Also, see the rocket shop link below. The images are older. The slat wall has much more hung on it now.
