Debating this idea over the last day since I redid my floor and the garage is empty. Wondering if anyone has seen or has saved a pic of a garage with the bottom half black? Whats making it difficult for me is one side and the back wall are concrete and already painted gray. the front wall and other side are currently white. Was thinking a bright or metallic silver stripe maybe 4 feet up and under that do all black. My trailer is like that...here are some pics of how it looks

Nice garage!

I will say that as nice as that trailer interior looks, I don't think I would want black on my shop walls... It would be like working in a black hole..

Maybe do everything in grey or white, then add a 12" or so black and maybe a 2" silver stripe to tie everything together?

Even leaving it like it is now, with the grey/white, would probably look good with a black/silver stripe..

I will add, that my in my current garage, the previous owners had the garage floor done in asphalt for some reason.. Just from a functional standpoint it *****, as finding small hardware dropped on the black surface is very difficult. The other issue I have is that the black floor seems to **** all the light up, It just always seems dark... Not that you would paint yours with a matte black (I assume) but I still wouldn't like it..

I will echo the thoughts of others in that I don't think having the lower half black will aide your work; especially under the lift.

How deep is your garage from door to the front edge of the mezzanine and what size vehicles do you lift?

Or top half white, gray bottom with a black stripe, I agree with the black hole comment.
