Garage wall texture

I'm getting ready to clean up and paint my attached garage. I only use this garage to park in and will probably use it as a hang out spot when company is over. I live in a rural area and there are old cobwebs and spider webs all over the walls and ceiling. I got alot off with a broom, but there is still a bunch stuck on. Any ideas on how to get them off? The garage has drywall.

Also, there are a few spots on the drywall that need repairs. However, it has a weird texture and I'm not sure how it was applied. I don't want to repair the spots and leave it with a smooth surface. Anyone know how this texture is applied?

Looks like a knock down.

HD sells cans that you can do spot repairs. Does take some practice.

TSP solution and a 8" brush on a pole. Let it dry as needed. Water and TSP won't bother painted drywall

Use a leaf blower to get most of the webs out. Then use a broom for the rest.

How big are the repairs? If small holes, just use drywall mud or caulk. It's a garage....

Paint? I'd use a semi-gloss exterior. Stuff doesn't stick to it as well.

Unless you Teflon coat your walls.....you will always have spider webs
