Just get extra sheets and put another foot of the same panel. Mount it sideways that way the bead will blend in better.

For a nice look and little waste, I don't think there is anything. Just a foot of anything is going to look funky. Now if you came up 4' and installed z flashing with drip edge, and then 5' up from there it will look nice if painted two different colors. But then you have a 3' piece of waste.

9' and 10' lengths are available. Do you have a Menards nearby? You have no location.

A real local lumber yard will be able to order as well, home cheepo or lowes"t" of quality will just give you a blank stare probably. Not that Menards is any better.

How about a 1' piece of diamond plate looking material or maybe some other kind of material that will take being accidentally run into. Just thinking of possible problems in the future.
Oh BTW I am meaning for the bottom 1' and then 8' of your paneling.

I do have a menards by but I was quoted $22 for a 4x8 sheet I didn't really want to spend that much on a 4x9 but might have to to make it look nice

several options come to mind.
add 1' pc to top, trim over it with a 1x3 that has an accent colour
add 1' of reg ply to the top & add a large crown mold with equal sized pc on ceiling, paint it ceiling colours
add a 1x8 trim top & bottom. paint accent colour
put ply tight to ceiling and add 36" wainscot to lwr portion
