For all you "techs" looking for garage wall color ideas, I will give you an idea to get you started. Here is how my set-up scheme is...
I have 8' walls in a 26 X 28 man cave, so, I painted the top 4' semi gloss white. Then, I painted 1' grey. The bottom 3' is a blue, just a tad darker than an internet link blue. The reason I used these colors, was because all three colors matched the paint chips sprinkled on my grey garage floor. I accented the walls off with an apple red 2" wood accent strip between the white and the grey to hide the seam. This turned a lot of heads after I lit it all up with 6 florescent fixtures. It is bright and very cool looking! The step daughter said it reminded her of Valvloline colors. Not my original idea, but it fits perfectly!

What.........no upstairs pics?????

j/k. It looks great what you have. I like the two-tone blue paint. Any plans on finishing off the ceiling?

Hello, again...
Lots of great ideas out here! Thanks for your comments. Just to answer a few questions, I did not include any pics of the 8" upstairs because it is RAW-no insulation, walls, flooring, etc. Really nothing to see yet. It does, however, have all the electric ran for the outlets, ceiling fans outlets and switches. Both levels are 8' tall. The garage is on a 26X28 slab. I probably should have put in footings (oops!). I did go with OSB, but I did prime it first, then painted with Home Depot Behr paint. The blue was called 'Jazz Blue". It worked GREAT! I might go with OSB upstairs with a laquered clear finish. Otherwise, it will be 2 toned paint, but something other than the downstairs colors.
Now, the finishing of the ceiling is still undecided. I originally wanted it up, but I do not have the help and I need to start on the upstairs rec room. I will have a 54" TV, hammock, couches, chairs, excersize equipment, foosball table and an awesome stereo system. There will be storage along the sides and several options for lighting. It all depends on the cash flow.
For those of you wanting the 2008 Jeep pics, here they are....

Thats why I didn't show the "Jeep" in the first set of pics. It does look good however, with my 165# English Mastiff in the back, hot looking wife in the front, with the doors off, top down, pulling my teardrop "Little Guy" trailer with my Kawasaki KFX400 ATV though! When I get some scratches in it, I will go "rockin"!

Good lookin' garage Sir.

The curtains. Been thinking of doing the same thing. Did you find them like that or did you grab some material from WalMart and sew a hem in them?

...oh yeah. I farmer snotted and cussed half way through typing the curtain question so no one here thinks I'm light in the loafers.

Did you just tape off for the stripes? I'm getting ready to do the same thing on a textured wall, and trying to decide between paint or vinyl for the stripe.
