Garage window coverings

I have a single window in my garage that I love because it lets a lot of light in. Problem is, my neighbor is always peeking his head in the window (nosy). The window also faces some neighboring houses.

I need some kind of window covering for this window, but I want it to be rugged enough to withstand the garage. What do you guys have on your windows?

Spray-on frosting. Lets the light in, but keeps the peepers in suspense.

I tinted the windows on the front of my garage with 5% limo tint. If he still tries to look in, get a set of blinds, cheap ones are less than 10 bucks.

I have blinds behind the window tint in my picture. You can't see the blind and the tint makes it look cleaner. You can still open the blind to let light in but it's harder to see in.

After I did it, the wife kinda did the "eye roll" thing. A few days later, she confessed that she thought it looked better.

cheap mini blinds are going to do everything you need. the cheap vinyl ones from walmart even when closed dont really block very much light but will keep people from seeing in.

Ah yes why didn't I think of that. I tinted my parents glass pantry door and it came out looking great. I think I will go this route.

Only problem is I wouldn't be able to let light in if I wanted to.

If it were me, I would use a frosted window film that adds privacy but still allows daylight to come in. This would not collect dust and obsure views day and night. If you want to block daylight too, perhaps just a pull down shade?

Whack him on the beak with a wet cloth next time he pokes it in the window, that'll stop him sticking it in again! (works with dogs anyway!)

A loud "CAN I HELP YOU?" the next time he "peeks" might do the trick too.

I prefer a more direct path with "WTF man? Get out of my window." I generate a lot of dust in my garage so I would avoid blinds as they collect lots of dust.
