Garage window glass options

We are in the process of building a new home and will have to decide on the garage door style and what type of glass we want for the windows. We have the style of the door picked out as the home has a Craftsman style theme, but need to select type of glass. Clopay offers glass in 4 versions, frosted, seeded, rain, and obscure. Anyone have opinions pro or con on any of these?

I like windows I can see out of. I have three doors with the windows in the top panel and wish they were lower so I could see out better,

Looks like these are the options. A lot would depend on where you live. Me personally, I like having light in my garage when the sun is up and the ability to peek outside if I think I hear the UPS truck (pretty distinctive sound)

I think I would go with seeded. You can always add something (tint, etc) after the fact if needed

I will also vote for clear windows. Both of my garages have clear windows on the 2nd row down from the top so I can see out of them. My Wife made curtains that cover them but I can pull them back if i want to look out.

I vote clear as well, I switched to a Coplay door with a row of small windows across the top pane. Lets in plenty of light and I'm not tall enough to see into the garage from the outside. No need for special glass.

I found film at Walmart that was supposed to be used on RV windows. It's thicker than other window film and it says it can be removed and re used. It was easy to apply as I did it myself. You cannot see in unless a light is on inside the garage.
