I sincerely apologize if something like this exists already, I was not able to find it.

Like most people browsing this site, I'm in the middle of planning my workshop/garage. The biggest issue I face, is if I'm building it big enough. On paper, a shop size may seem big enough, but once your cars/tools/benches are moved in, it may be a difference story.

I've searched and browsed countless number of build threads to get an idea of what certain size would end up looking like, but I thought it might be a good idea to have a single thread that people could use as visual reference of what their shop layout could look like when completed. At the very least it'll help me decide what size to go with.

So please post your shop dimensions and photos of inside with everything moved in. Thanks so much!

What size range are you considering? I don't want to waste your time with a 400sq-ft garage if you're in the 1000sq-ft++ range, know what I mean? In any case, bigger is better!

Figure out what you think you need. Double it, add 20%. It will soon be too small!
Seriously, the cheapest and easiest thing is to get some graph paper and start taking a few measurements of the things you are planning on putting inside.
Good Luck!
