Installed GarageDeck tiles recently and I'm quite happy with the results. Reading around here, it sounds like RaceDeck is overall nicer, but it's an out-of-sight out-of-mind deal for me. The price was just right with GarageDeck.

The video gives a full review, but a summary of install/impressions is below.

Video:

Logistics:
  • Garage size - 20x20
  • Tiles ordered - 410
    • 184 black
    • 184 grey
    • 42 red
    • (+20 black front edges)
  • Shipping time - 1 week
  • Installation time - 1 afternoon
  • Price - Approx. $1,000
  • Site ordered - www.bigfloors.com
Impressions:
  • Durability - Has only been a few months, but has held up to jacking cars and rolling things around with no issues. Winter grime and salt wipes clean with all-purpose cleaner and a mop without stains. Time will tell on the finish/sheen as to whether or not it wears off.
  • Ease of install - Very simple. Measuring out your center point and making cuts for the side/rear of the garage was the most "difficult," or time consuming part. You don't even have to stomp or use a rubber mallet, you can just step down on the tiles to connect them into place.
    • I also installed tiles on my stair treads (screwed down), heading into the house with anti-slip mats. Really helped complete the look. Working next to paint the concrete around the base of the garage.

  • Quality/Look - Looks great unless you get within inches and analyze the finish. You can see the machine work/fabrication of the tiles and there are some lines throughout. Hard to describe, but it shows in the video/pics. Overall, I'm happy with the looks and no one other than people on this forum would notice the imperfections here haha.

  • Noise - I tested out the tiles with and without landscape fabric underneath. The fabric helped to reduce, but not fully eliminate the "clicking," sound when walking. I debated putting it down in case the fabric absorbed moisture, but it's somewhat shear/breathable and has not seemed to be an issue so far.
  • Happiness - 100%

I'm impressed and happy with these tiles! Completely transforms the garage. I painted the ceiling and rear wall black, then the two side walls grey for a nice finished look. Next up will be lighting. Hoping to go with the LED Hexagrid style, but still working out the design.

Let me know what you think and share some pics of your finished project if available!

I don't love the mold lines but this is a huge improvement over cement I think. Nice pattern here too with the red 'landing strip'.
