Planning to start a build in spring 2011 on a detached 24' x 48' with 12' x 24' lean-to and 12' x 24' workshop. The garage will be unfinished with insulation and studs so I can install some OSB to hang tools and such.
I have been researching for some time on flooring options and have gone back and forth from epoxy to tiles (RaceDeck and the like). Weighing the pros and cons of both I think I would prefer the tiles mainly due to ease of installation and the portability if I ever had to uproot one day.
Then I started to second guess the look of a tile floor in combination with the unfinished interior. Anyone have any opinions or pics they can share of a setup like this? I do quite a bit of maintenance on our vehicles myself and also wondered how the tiles would hold up to jacks / jack stands.
