GarageDeck'd my Garage this weekend. It is solid graphite in color. I just wanted to post this to help other people answer some of the questions that I had before I started.
I looked at samples and other peoples' garage floors from several other manufactuers, (as well as other Snap Lock products). In the end, this is what I chose. I am happy with it so far.
Some of the questions I had before I started:
Is GarageDeck as good as RaceDeck? I will say that RaceDeck is a nice product, but it is overhyped and not worth the extra money over GarageDeck. So yes, GarageDeck is as good as RaceDeck IMO. Of course, SnapLock will disagree, but that is my unbiased assessment.
Is it noisy? Somewhat. When I walk on it, it sounds like someone walking around in high heels. I thought it was going to bother me, but it doesn't really. I used a double layer of weed barrier fabric to dampen some of the noise.
Will liquids go through the cracks? Yes. "Surface tension" will not hold the liquids from going through the cracks. That is a load of **** that I have read on forums several times before. If you spill something, just clean it up quick and it should be okay.
Is it easy to unsnap the tiles? Not really. It does take some effort; I wouldn't call it easy.
