With the lights at night your whole garage is highlighted.
They look cool but I don't like to attract attention to my stuff inside.
Who knows who is driving around at night checking things out.

If you live in a place that you have to worry about someone driving by in the 5 mins you take to snap a photo, I'm sorry!

I agree.
My garages are 200' from any street and none are visible.

Here's The Hot Rod Grille Garage without the cars. The other pic was taken from inside, with cars, at night, with the door open.

Here is mine. I wish I had the room to build one bigger, so I visit here often to live vicariously through you guys.

Just a bit different pic. The day we poured the floor it turned cold in the afternoon and we had to wait for the concrete to set up enough to finish. It was 1 am. before the young man finishing the floor packed up and left. I asked him about 3 pm if he thought I should set up some lights. He didn't think so but I did any way. Glad I did.

Hah! Perfect timing, I'm leaving the garage in a minute, and have a camera since we've been documenting an insane build. (To find out what, you have to visit the "Let's see what's in your garage" thread, but I guarantee it's the first and probably only that will ever appear in GJ!)

Ersats2, that is a great place! Love those windowed garage doors, where did you get them! Sure does makes the night pictures all that much better!

Thanks, I really like them and they made the project. They are built by Raymer based on drawings I made, installed by Jammer Doors here in NJ. I did a little summary with links not to long ago in a 'doors' post if anyone cares to search on that... Also more info in the build thread.
