A friend of mine got one of those Mustangs in the same color and all his "buddies" at work got him a can of touch up paint.
It was a can of cheese whiz.

This is my rendition of an actual Chevrolet Dealership located in Deerbrook, Wis. which operated from 1929 to 1964 by two generations of family members .

Here is my humble garage, just getting ready to reinstall the body on my '56 Bel Air

Nice wall! Is that chevron 3D or paint?

Thanks! It is paint. I masked it off, sprayed it with rattle can gold, and then went along the outside edges with rattle can black to give is a raised and weathered look.

This one is from a few years back. The sunset stopped me in my tracks while getting ready to work all night.

Cool pics guys. I agree that night shots seem to give them a personality of their own. First pic is my garage. Second pic is of the dealership shop I clean on the weekends.

P.S. Oops, I have read so many threads on here and been lurking so long that I did not realize that I hadn't actually posted anything yet!

I am so impressed by the talent and creativity by this community. All the adjectives to describe the garages, shops, homes that have been discussed here have been used and to add another would be repetition, however; astonishing, spectacular, dramatic, and stunning are just a few that kept running through my mind while spending many hours reading the posts @ Garage Journal.

As many have indicated, they wish they had come across this forum long ago and I too, harbor these same feelings. It’s never too late to learn what others are doing along with the “tips & tricks” many choose to share with us all. Thanks to all of you for making this wonderful forum a great place to spend time at.

Thanks to my Dad who helped me become enamored with the automobile. Some of my earliest memories are of the times spent in his garage. He always told me that I can do most anything if I just put my mind to it and use my ingenuity. He has always been a pretty smart guy and is still very sharp today at 86 years young.

Garages @ Night. Very clever thread. Hope you enjoy this one too.
