I haven't posted in this thread for a few years (the avatar photo from a previous house). So, here is what I see when I look out from the dining area of the current house across the courtyard to the ongoing garage project... My wife didn't realize my evil plan with the large windows until I turned the garage lights on.

Last night.

Tonight: not a lot of progress, but the Woodford is an improvement.

The undershelf light shining down on the “bench” is a huge improvement from last week. Trying to true a bicycle wheel standing between the opener lights (additional bulb) and my workstation is downright miserable and nearly useless.

Looks a bit of a mess from outside, but the biggest mess is a carseat on top of a work stand. When I put those up theres enough room to pull my subie in there not that I would.

I'll have to try again. I'm sure I can get a better night time shot than this.

Thanks. Its a bit harder than I thought to get good pics at night of the outside. I took a few more pictures tonight though.
The white Fury sitting by itself, died on the way to the drive in theatre tonight. It just arrived home courtesy of a rollback sent by AAA. Was glad the driver was able to off load it directly into the garage.

Here's mine....
Lemme guess, every time you sell a car, the ad says "hood not included"? :lol_hitti It does look cool with the hood collection, though. :)

Thanks for sharing more photos of your triple garage, I really like the layout of it! Is the mural in the center one painted on the wall, or just on a canvas? Great looking Mopar collection, too.

Thanks. The garage is done except for the final grading around the outside. The 8'x12' wall paper mural is from Heffron's, and depicts a Friday evening cruise in at the Bob's Big Boy on Riverside Drive in Burbank, CA where there have been cruise in's since the 1950's.

Ok, Jim - 7 posts and you share those kinds of pictures? Wow.

You owe us some stories of those amazing cars.

With all the great looking garages, I hesitate to add mine, but here it is anyway.

Cool. Looks like a 1970 Thunderbird. Don't know why, but I've only ever seen that roof line on the 70 Thunderbird coupe (the first year for that roofline). All the 71 T bird coupes I've seen have the more formal roof line carried over from the 1969 Thunderbird.
Most of the cars in my pictures are my Mopars (two 67 Coronets, 66 Fury, two 68 Barracudas). The green 69 Dart is a buddy's car, and the 71 Mercury Comet belongs to another buddy. The Comet is a 302 V-8 original paint solit survivor and is for sale for $5500.

You got it - it's a 1970 - Ford called it the 'sports roof' in 1971. They had a Landau 2 door in addition to the Landau 4 door in 1971, and those were more popular than the sports roof.

My dad was a big Mopar guy when I was growing up. We had a series of them: 1962 Valiant, 1967 Dodge Dart, 1972 Chrysler New Yorker. I had a couple of them myself, too. One was a 1970 Coronet with a 383 and a broken motor mount. I think the torque just ripped it up.

There was a one off factory show car in 68 or 69 that had that roof on a 68 or 69 Thunderbird. Always thought it would be cool to recreate that look by putting '68-'69 T bird front fenders, hood, grille and front bumper, & 68 tail lights, on a 70 Thunderbird Sportsroof.
