Utah...SNOW BLOWS!
Hello everyone! Just sharing some photos of our shop in beautiful, rustic NE MO. Took these shots last night... 80X100 bowstring truss building constructed in 1936 as a Pontiac/Buick/GMC dealership. It’s still in the family and we use the shop every single day... We definitely have a lot of QST there on the weekends!

That's really cool! I have a hunch that the inside lighting is a tad brighter than it was in 1936, eh? :bounce:

Oh most definitely! Over the years dad and I have completely remodeled the building. We’ve added both high-output fluorescent and LED fixtures. I’d like to add more though. If we can’t have enough light to do surgery in that building, I won’t be happy! We’ve finally added a shop couch, too. At night we’ll chill out and watch the highway traffic go by...60938402793__2B19D536-44D8-42CF-9133-4B937908E845.jpg

The garage is so cluttered and full of project stacking up that my buddy is working on his Explored outside tonight with just the light from the open garage door and an exterior flood light.

From the street with interior lights on and a security light. No cars in yet as the construction isn't quite finished and lots of possible nails around the area.

No progress on projects since my last picture, but here's a different view of the same messy garage.

This is a great thread. There is something so right about working in the garage on a warm evening with the door/s openned and all the sounds in the neighbourhood mixed together. I've really enjoyed looking at these images, all the cool rides surrounded by tools and spare parts. Here is my contribution such as it is, a work in progress.

That's an amazing space Don. Having a second floor/balcony is awesome. I've been fortunate to be included in a few local garage tours that are similar to your collection. All help inspire and define my own. Thanks for posting.

Your garage is lookin sweet. I really like the lights around the bumper car. We have a lot of the same taste in toys and stuff. The aliens are out of my comfort zone however. NICE GARAGE. Thanks for posting it up

I love the aliens… it’s a weird obsession. We’re planning an 8’ flying saucer display for the roof but it’s taking some time to work out the details. Lol thanks for the reply Don, I’d love to check out your place some day, it’s on my bucket list.

Love the E36 M3. I had a 99 back in the day, very similar to yours. I wish I wouldn't have sold that car. Have you seen Matt Moreman's E36 M3 that he's currently working on? He's the Obsessed Garage guy. I think he used to be on this forum.
I have watched a couple videos. I am/was an OG affiliate but I haven't watched his stuff in a while. I need to get caught back up.

Bumping an awesome thread again.

Last night while waiting for the wife to get home so I could fix a rock chip in her windshield and after parking my Jeep back in the house garage and taking the garbage out I snapped these couple of pictures of the shop with the lights on and most of the leaves off of my trees just as the sun was going down.

Here is a picture of the night I moved my cars into the new house. This was about 2:00 am and I had to go back to the old house and finish packing up the garage and be out of that house by 9:00 am that was a LONG night.
