Garden hose reel recommendations?

Did you loosen the Phillips head screw on the strap all the way? I used 3/4 hose and it was a bit snug, but it did fit.

I actually removed it altogether. Still wouldn't fit. Those swivel grips on the Flexzilla hoses were just too big to be fed through. Not a big deal to cut them off but I wasn't sure if I wanted to keep it or not.
