Eley (rapid reel). You'll know you found the right one if the price makes your knees weak. Have a pair going on 9 years and they have been great. There might be chinese clones available now, but I would pay up for the originals because they are well made.

Yep.. Eley. I've got one and it's held up for years and still working great. As said you just need to get past the price.

I bought the Eley wall mount reel, 2) 100' polyurethane hoses and a bunch of quick connects about 5 years ago.

I used to go through the rubber and premium HD and Lowes hoses, wall mount reels and quick connects every two years or so. The AZ sun just eats stuff up here.

About 5 years ago I bought the Eley poly hoses, reel and quick connects. All exposed to the AZ sun, still work fine, no leaks, etc. I did have t replace the quick connect O rings.

At the well house and garage I made a simple welded fabrication...two pieces of 1" square steel about 18" long welded to steel 1/4"x2" strap about 4ft long. Square tubing welded about 3ft apart, holes drilled and securely screwed into place about 4ft high. Prime and paint.
I tried various things over the years. It takes about a minute to loop 50ft. of hose, maybe 10 ft. per loop. Super easy also pulling hose off. I have 100ft. (2 sections) each one.

Do you need to move it often? What is your use case?

Mine never leave the spot next to the spigot and only get unhooked to cover the hose bib during hard freezes.

I just bought cheap ones from lowes. Last time I replaced one was 7 years ago when we moved into this house. They both still work just fine.

Just don't buy a cheap hose. I replaced a lot of cheap hoses before I finally ponied up to two nice quality ones. Haven't had an issue with either of them since.

Agree with the rest about Eley. I have a wall mount and a cart mount, both awesome. As for the price, they do have a sale every once in a while, but it's like twice a year. Black Friday and one other. Can't remember if it's memorial day, father's day or 4th of July though.

I bought this last year. Great for watering newly planted trees up to 120' away. The thing is a beast. I have it mounted to an old picnic "work" table next to the spigot. Easy as pie to roll up 120 feet of hose. I've had those cute little Ames type plastic ones and will never go back.

I gave up on them....good for about 3-4 years....then they start to leak.

I just use a hanger on the side of the wall.
