Garden hose reel

I added a hot/cold spigot in the garage for my Kranzle power washer. Need to have warm water at times. I want to add a hose reel and searching came up with Eley with 10 year warranty, Cox Reels with a few years and Reel craft. Cox and Reelcraft seem very similar. The plus of the Eley is that it can be mounted perpendicular or parallel tot the wall. I’m not sure how I’ll mount it yet.

Do you guys have a stout wall mount?

There are several threads...almost all go Eley.

I have a bunch on several properties, great reels. I had a problem once in fifteen years...called them, got a human. Free part on my doorstep 2 days later...no questions.

I finally bought an Eley this year after putting it off for years. Just seemed like a lot of money for a hose reel. But after owning one, you will see it is well worth it. Should have done it years ago.

Eley seems overpriced until you see it and start using it. It isn't so much that they are perfect but all the others have lots of problems.

with 10 year warranty and if it's is easy to deal with, i wouldn't mind spend some money on it.

I got one and then had it powder coated Cox hose reel blue to match my air reel and power washing one.

Eley sells a post mount kit to go along with your wall mount. It works with either a 4x4 or 6x6 post. I found that more convenient to where we actually use the hose than mounting to a wall. With the post set in concrete, it is a very stout.

Just ordered the ELEY hose reel. Also got another 50’ of their hose. Stuff is certainly pricey, but man is it good.
