Cheap stuff from Harbor freight died on me after one season. Tried replacing the o-rings but still doesn’t build up the pressure.

Any recommendations for a brand/model that will last a bit? 2 gallon would be great for my needs. Planing to use for various things including vinegar for killing weeds.

I just picked up a dewalt 20v backpack sprayer and am extremely happy with it. Milwaukee makes one also, but the dewalt is built heavy duty and i like that the pump is adjustable, i would never go back to a hand pump one.

I go through a home depot brand HDX about every year. They ****, dont buy one. This year I tried a scotts 2gal at $5 more and seams like its built better by far.

Thx.
I took a read through the manual and it says don’t use anything acidic. I use homemade weed killer using vinegar so that won’t work..
I assume Harbor Fraud failed because vinegar killed the seals…

You may want to look @ the various offerings;

Chapin's G2005P horticultural vinegar sprayer is perfect for organic weed control. Its tough seals are vinegar-resistant, tested specifically for use with horticultural vinegar. It comes with our SureSpray® anti-clog filter so you can keep spraying even if you get debris and dirt in the tank. The folding carrying handle makes it easy to grab and store when you're done.

Good Luck

I use Hudson sprayers. The Chapin sprayers that I've owned have not lasted as long. If you are interested a professional quality sprayer, look at Professional Dispensing Systems, Inc. pdsweb.net

I have a Solo that I bought locally about 12 to 15 years ago. I use it frequently in the summer in the vegetable garden and small orchard,, and have never done any repairs or replaced any parts in it. I just rinse it out and make sure it is empty and clean at the end of the season when it is stored in the unheated shed. I don't recall if mine is a piston or diaphragm type. https://us.solo.global/farm-landscape/1012-425-backpack-sprayer-4-gallon-piston.html
