Garden Yard Stand Alone Pdestal

[Miss the Pontiacs]

Has anyone out there installed a stand alone power pedestal in their garden area? I want to place some power in 2 places in my yard. We are having some landscaping done and want power near a patio area and some near a pond fountain that is being installed.
There must be some type approved cabinet/pedestal available.
Any ideas?

Another possibility is to simply stick a 4x4 post in the ground, and mount a box on it with a weatherproof while in use cover. Assuming you'll use UF rated cable, route it in conduit above grade when going up the side of the post.

However, the Gard-N-Post mentioned above is probably a easier and better choice, and they aren't very expensive.

A 4X4 post and a RV power outlet from Midwest or other manufacturers would do well, can be purchased with various receptacles & with or without circuit breakers plus has a attached in use cover too.

I have my supplier looking as well. He had an idea will share it once I hear back from him.

That's what we did when we built the pool at my parents house. Just sunk a 4x4 behind the back of the pool and ran conduit up to a outdoor junction box about 18" high.
