Gas Bottle Sources in Milwaukee

I'm starting to investigate sources for gas for my welder and torch...

Looking at the following sizes:

~80 cu.ft. Argon/Co2
~125 - 140 cu.ft. O2
~75-80 cu.ft. Acetylene

I called Northern Tool first since they are close to my work and was blown away, tanks have to be purchased and all three are in the $250 - $325 range. Then you gotta fill them. I had read around previously and expected to pay $100 - $150 per tank. Is that reasonable? Maybe it's too optimistic...

In reading further I see a lot of comments about pricing varying widely w/in a given area, especially for the tanks themselves.

Anybody know any good, affordable places around the Milwaukee area?

Scuba,

Thank you for the link, it was helpful. I ran through the top 4 places nearby that I could run to easily, and prices for the basic same set of tanks (O2, Acet, Argon w/in 15 cuft or so) ran from $585 to $1043.

Definitely pays to shop around!

For those interested, Advanced Welding Supply in West Allis had the best price including tanks (and also for the gas fills afterwards). I'll be paying them a visit soon.
