Good evening

had a flexible gas line buried about 2 weeks ago, not hooked up yet,
it is the yellow csst line 3/4 , only about 60 feet from house gas meter to garage

my contractor to hook it up is now saying it might need to be in conduit

Thanks for any replies

had a digging contractor bury it, its still reasonably fresh , just would be a pain to dig up , he was saying he had buried this line before with no issues, stated as long as i would not be digging around it for any reason then conduit was not needed, my thinking is if gas co would not locate it, i could if needed

Usually in conduit. What brand trac pipe? They make it for direct burial but does not sound like what he used.
