Have you ever seen what happens when you combine a little static electricity from that junk yellow plastic gas line and a gas leak?

It's not pretty! I can't understand why someone who has no clue of what size or type of fuel line to use for burial wants to take chances doing it themselves. Hire a licensed pro, your family and neighbors will appreciate it.

It's in there, over 4 fittings and you need to add the equivalent feet for each fitting into your length, Appendix A table A.2.2 in the international fuel gas code has the equivalent feet for each size pipe.

Wow, learn something new everyday. In all the projects I've done, big and small, I have never had an inspector look at that. We always use the longest run method for sizing.

When the "Pros" (PSE&G) ran the gas line to my house they ripped the feeder to my garage out of the ground, pulling it completely out of the garage and basement breaker pans.
