I am thinking about putting a pole up for a light by my shop. I may set it up for a motion detector. I have a motion detector unit I can add. Anyway I was thinking about something retro like a old gas sign. I don't want to get into the cost of tracking one down and redoing it, I have too many costly things going on now. But I was wondering if anyone has made one or has a picture of one that can be crafted. It doesn't have to have a sign with it but I would like a retro 50s or before look to it. I do have some round metal pipe I can make one from. I think I can probably locate the lights locally as well. Does anyone know of a link with a section of old poles or does anyone have one here. I also might can get a old one for about 30-60 bucks that is just a pole only. So I am interested in seeing photos of them. The old types that had lights on them and were usually as gas stations.
