I replaced the bulb in my gas pump globe, but I found it's too bright. My wife's fairly certain it can be seen from space.

First I tried an LED 60w equivalent. That was way too bright. I then tried an LED 40w. Again too bright.

Anyone have one they can suggest? It has a regular household bulb socket. I'm thinking like a 10w?

25 watt?……. This is something you need to experiment with.
TIP! You can always install a dimmer into the circuit to dim the 25 watt bulb to your liking.…… Set it and forget it.

Color temp means a lot here. Even a dimmable LED will still be 5000K if that's what you buy. I understand that you can buy bulbs now that will adjust the color as you dim. Used (and still is a feature) on some fixtures, but now in the bulb itself.

They sell those smaller 3 watt ones for fridge or something, but you might need an adapter for it, if your socket is E27....

or Costco have a dimm-able , and color changing one with Wifi for about $20.
