Hello, is there anyone still left on my site?
Herb, I believe a lot of us follow your thread but it only pops up when you or someone else posts something. I hope the shoulder rehab goes well and I second Justin's need for pics. You don't need to type anything, just tease us with an image or two and we'll be content.

Got the plates all up in this section of the barn. Also have some Coke stuff that I have been waiting for a place to put it. Added theses old 120 year old church windows. Love these windows, came from one of the oldest church in town. When they finally replaced them, they stacked them against a dumpster and didn’t break any of the old purple glass. I asked them if I could have them, and they were happy to get rid of them.
My 1960 Chevy BelAir that I’ve had sitting around for over10 years. Rain/Grizz really liked it, but thought it would cost too much to ship across the pond. Put a new radiator, water pump, and it runs smoothly. Need to confirm it’s still not overheating. Now I have it insured and new Antique plate, it’s ready for a longer drive. Plan on new rims and tires, and seats and headliner.

Not sure why it’s not downloading all the pictures I select. Maybe the wind storm is messing with the WiFi thingy.

Morning Herb.

It is so good to see you post again.

I am still as much in love with that car, its colour, and the value it represents.

Cool registration plate too.

I bought a 10 ton BenPak lift, used. Replaced all the hydraulic lines. Had a company come out and installed it. Hated paying for it to be done, but it was the safest way, and they checked everything out.

Thanks Rian, the plate is from a song by BobSeeger. Maybe you have heard it, called nightmoves. It fits the car well. I think I’m gonna take the wheels of my dune buggy and see if the size fits. The buggy has Chevy adapter hubs because there wasn’t much selection for rims like today. The wheels that are on it look brand new, but they came from the defunct KMart about 25 years ago. Can’t wait to put some more miles on it.

The Coke button is a large one, its 4 ft. My friend went to Dallas right after the opened the new race track. They had a large swap meet, and he spent a couple of days wondering around. Some guy from Texas had said the 2 Coke buttons came off a closed down bottling plant. So he bought both of them. He gave one to me for my birthday, which was the greatest gift ever. He sold the other one and made all his money back and then some. Nice to see a response from you.

Good morning to the UK. I put the wheels from the dune buggy on it, and its really made a change of appearance. Changed out the new thermostat cause it was only opening halfway. Put another new one in and it seemed to help at first. It seems after its warmed up to speed, it starts loosing some power like its just worn out. When it goes to a stop after coming in from the hiway, it act likes the carb is out of gas and dies. I spray some starting fluid into the carb, it fires right up. Really wish I could get it fixed right, its a real blast to drive around.

I came across some of the best filing cabinets in the world. This guy must of bought around 25 cabinets, I think he’s a full time flipper. Anyway I barely made it in line to buy a few. He sold all in a few minutes.
I can’t find a brand name, but they are made in Canada. I paid $50.00 for the big ones (4), and $30.00 for (1). I tried to buy one more of the smaller one and the guy wouldn’t budge.
I’ve started to put tools and other stuff into them. Man they are very well made, and the color is like a gunmetal gray. So glad they weren’t almond color, but I would of bought them anyway.
I started cleaning tools I had bought years ago in auctions. A lot of the stuff was cheap because no one bid on it. I would end up with 10 or more pliers in a box for $3.00, and other U S made tools. I just couldn’t say no. It’s taking me awhile to clean and organize.371BDF4B-4FE4-40BA-AC4E-1E85C20E6BE6.jpeg354D154F-6B6D-429B-AF27-CD7B280DB3B0.jpeg360FE49C-63DF-4AC9-9E36-CF2A3D2F9C81.jpeg

I found this blasting cabinet from a guy from Tulsa, about 150 miles from home. It was a white knuckle drive because of the wind. This dude was top heavy.
The wooden Native American, disabled also, I bought 3 or 4 years ago. The women that owned him, left him outside with NO wood protection, and after 7 years it has lots of damage. It’s really too bad cause it was done very well. It had a 3 foot Eagle perched on his arm. I have named him CHIEF NOHOW. Because he can’t raise his hand and say How as a welcome.
This is some limestone rocks that I’m lining some of my driveway. Beautiful rocks, and they are pretty flat so they stack very well.
Next in line after I get 2 other cars going.
Changing fluids,ALL in my little Kubota tractor. Hard to believe it’s 22 years old. Been a good trouble free investment.

I love those style of filing cabinets. My cousin has several in his work shop and I would love to find some locally.
you would think with everyone going paperless they would have a whole **** load of used filing cabinets, around. T hey do seem to be getting cheaper.

They make the best tool box. Because of the deep drawer that pull out, you can put alot of weird size tools in them . I'm so happy I found them, and love the color of them too.

Morning Herb,
I have been negotiating on your behalf the last two days, it is painful.
once I have a result I will let you know what the damage may be.
Looking forward to hitting the road with a cooler filled with Mountain Dew and Dr Pepper Next to me.
