I have an electric gate and a door opener on one roll up door of our large shop building. The gate opener uses a Multicode remote with ten dip switches, and the door opener uses a Liftmaster remote with rotating codes (the kind with a learning button).

Every universal remote I can find (from a lot of web searching) will do either remote but not one of each. The Homelink system in two of my cars works fine to solve a similar problem - my garage has Genie door openers and both Homelink systems (an Acura and a Chevy) can operate the Genies with rolling codes as well as the gate. I checked the Homelink site but they don't sell a universal remote.

I can live with two remotes in my truck and other cars in the shop but one small remote would be nice for the motorcycles. Has anyone had and solved a similar problem?

I have a similar set-up. Genie on the Garage and Lift master on the Barn.
My soultion was to get the Harely garage door openner for the bike and two receivers..one for the garage and the other in the barn. not cheap but now I open either from the same switch on the bike.
